This role provides leadership and direction in the management of the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.  Management and prioritization of enhancements and day to day maintenance are key functions of this position. The role plans and implements and professionally communicates complex technical information to key stakeholders. The ERP Manager guides team members through upgrades and complex issues regarding ERP maintenance.

Primary responsibilities include (but not limited to):

 

Leadership Specific

 

  • Be personally accountable for performance of employees in reporting area and achievement of area’s goals and strategies and teach employees in area to be likewise personally accountable.

Position Specific

  • Coordinates and leads cross-functional project teams to successfully analyze, financially justify, initiate, plan, execute, and monitor the company’s ERP continuous improvement
  • Coordinates with teams throughout the company to establish staffing and project plans for specific system enhancement projects
  • Assists with collecting customer requirements, defines and prioritizes projects to deliver results
  • Partners with internal customers (sales, customer service, engineering, finance, etc.) to analyze the business requirements and objectives needed to effectively maintain the ERP system
  • Partners with external service providers to manage and prioritize issues and enhancements
  • Helps to identify continuous improvement in processes and offers solutions to promote efficiency
  • Assesses and oversees the ongoing departmental training needs related to enhancements and upgrades
  • Coordinates upgrade testing and deployments
  • Ensures that all levels of the business are informed and collaborating effectively on fixes, enhancements, and upgrades
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills to receive and convey information clearly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Works professionally and efficiently with all levels within the organization
  • Adheres to all company employment policies and safe practices
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of experience integrating or administering enterprise software
  • Experience effectively communicating and reporting to the executive level
  • Ability to organize and lead multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven experience serving as a project lead and motivating teams to action
  • Demonstrated planning, critical thinking and problem-solving
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

 

Preferred:

 

  • Experience with Oracle ERP
  • PMP desirable
