Over the course of the two (2) year program, the engineer will rotate through four (4) rotations including Capacity Planning, Integrity & PHMSA Compliance, Project Engineering, & Project Management. At the completion of the two (2) year rotation, the engineer will have the opportunity to transfer into a full-time position based on organization and department needs.   This structured program is designed to accelerate professional growth, cultivate versatile skill sets, and prepare individuals for future leadership roles. The engineer will receive guidance from leadership and mentors on work assignments, and will be required to demonstrate experience, knowledge, innovation, and judgement.

This position reports to the Manager, Region Operations and is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of pipeline and compressor facilities for an assigned work location(s). This position will be responsible for overall leadership, implementation of strategies, management oversight, performance of employees, and achievement of goals and strategies for the assigned work location. The employee will be physically out on the job with assigned operations employees, which include operators, welders, heavy equipment specialists, and operations administrators. The majority of time will be spent leading and interacting with and providing daily work direction to these employees; ensuring adherence to safety practices and corporate policies, procedures, and contractual requirements; ensuring alignment with corporate direction, vision, mission, principles, strategies and goals; working with direct reports to improve processes and efficiencies; overseeing operations, maintenance, inspection, and testing criteria and construction jobs; identifying and recommending educational needs; ensuring all compliance requirements are met; and, improving procedures and work methods to better ensure operational safety, reliability, and efficiency. This position must reside within a 40-mile radius of reporting location and will be required to perform housekeeping throughout reporting location. - Dig Crew Employees are required to schedule available Personal Time Off only during Company’s major holiday breaks including: Memorial Day, July Fourth, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and each reporting location’s public school’s spring break. All scheduling of PTO is subject to prior management approval. - Dig Crew Employees must remain at the location for two (2) years.

This Analyst I, Integrity and PHMSA Compliance reports to Leader, Technical Closing and TVC Records and provides internal expertise in the areas of Pipeline Safety specifically regarding SSCGP’s Operations and Maintenance Manual, Integrity Management Plan, and gas pipeline operations. This position assists with various activities related to Pipeline Safety, internal and external audits, the Management of Change process, quality assurance, performance metrics and continuous improvement. This position maintains the Pipeline Compliance to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal pipeline safety regulations related to the operation, maintenance, and construction activities of the company’s interstate natural gas transmission system.  The analyst may lead on assigned projects. This position would work with other members of Integrity Management and PHMSA Compliance and various SSCGP departments to ensure compliance with all regulations and procedures in accordance with SSCGP’s Integrity Management Plan and Operations and Maintenance Manual. Main responsibilities include reviewing documentation, researching records for TVC efforts, reinforcing codes/standards, and providing analytical insights using Excel, Power BI, and Machine Learning software.

The Automation and Commissioning Specialist II is responsible for leading, overseeing, and completing all automation aspects of major capital projects related to the design, development, construction, and execution of natural gas facilities. This position is the technical leader for system specifications, electrical design, PLC programming, electronic flow measurement (EFM), and SCADA for compression, measurement, and storage facilities. The Specialist works independently on projects in varying complexity and see projects through from initial design to in-service.   The Specialist is to perform specialized tasks and projects by relying on established guidelines and specifications along with specialize knowledge to effectively carry out project tasks and related work assignments under the direction of senior management.
