This position will be responsible for and/or assist in various activities such as; perform the planning, analysis, design, estimating, construction, alterations, and/or operations/maintenance support of company facilities. Plan, perform, and/or conduct a diverse range of engineering tasks and projects, relying on established guidelines, technical ability, experience, innovation, and judgement, both independently and with group support and evaluation. Clearly present the results of research and analysis, while maintaining the supporting details and documentation. Prepare exhibits for presentation to regulatory bodies and courts. Develop and/or implement technical standards and verify that work products conform to applicable Industry, State, and Federal codes and regulations. May cross into new fields of technical specialty.
This position will be responsible for various tasks in meeting the Company’s internal and external reporting and filing requirements related to the Company’s fixed assets and depreciation. Roles would include but are not limited to: the gathering of data; ensure integrity of company asset records; distribution of records; analyzing accounts; and corresponding with internal and external professionals. Reporting requirements include, but are not limited to, the Company’s equity investors and debt holders; and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. The environmental specialist ensures compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations in support of Company operations, maintenance, and construction activities. The specialist is responsible for providing technical guidance and support to various company departments concerning compliance with environmental regulations. Additionally, the specialist provides support to other environmental staff members in the achievement of land and environment department tasks.
The TA Partner is responsible for performing full life cycle recruiting and specializes in filling roles within the natural gas transmission industry, while championing a diverse and inclusive workforce. The position uses labor market data, industry trends, and knowledge of talent pools to develop sourcing plans and strategies and translate this to a fact-based recommendation to the hiring team, executive leadership, and other internal stakeholders. Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems. The position also builds networks and relationships through industry contacts, colleagues, trade groups, etc. to identify active and passive candidates for various positions.
This position is responsible for the direction and oversight of the encroachment engineering, project estimating and scoping functions. This position coordinates with all functional areas prioritizing future project lists in keeping within the company goals on capital spends. This position will provide high level administrative and analytical support through a multi-faceted role within Supply Chain Services that performs general supply chain functions including procurement, materials/inventory management, and master data quality management in support of SSCGP’s daily operations. Functions within this role typically include, but are not limited to, performing significant software entry in the Oracle ERP software application, including receiving, material transactions, requisitions, and performing general materials/inventory management functions that include cycle counts, asset recovery, and Master Data Governance. The position shall communicate on a daily basis with Southern Star offices and field personnel and external suppliers to resolve material related deficiencies and ensure customer satisfaction. Position will utilize financial systems and maintain electronic and paper files and records.
This position reports to the Leader, Drafting and Surveying, and provides drawings and maps for Engineering projects as well as those required by various company projects. Drawings and maps, produced using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software packages, provide information for bid and construction projects, to obtain regulatory permits, and to document the completed construction projects. This analyst position will plan and conduct work requiring independent evaluation and assume responsibility for projects outcomes.
